She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucien Raikes and Ella Smothers Raikes; her husband Eugene Hourigan; her son-in-law Gary Taylor; her grandson Jackie Morgeson; and her siblings, Ida Mary Price, Ruth Raikes, Bill Raikes, James Raikes, George Lem Raikes and Minnie Lee Scanland.
She is survived by: her children, Eugenia Adkins (Terry), Joyce Taylor, Edwina Morgeson (Keith Garrett), David Hourigan, Kim Sheperson (Jack) and Mandy Emmons (Ronnie); her grandchildren, Jeremy Adkins (Cara), Jason Adkins (Whitney), Ashley Miller (Travis), Joni Horn (Josh), Michael Taylor (Karlie), Parker Taylor, Brandon Morgeson, Jason Price (Candace), Dana Miles (Chris), Johnelle Sheperson, RJ Emmons, Sarah Emmons, Sophie Emmons and Brody Emmons; her daughter-in-law Pat Hourigan; and her siblings, Ted Carpenter and Helen McCarty (Donald). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Walden Funeral Home (207 S Bragg St, Perryville, KY 40422). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Union Cemetery.
