He is survived by: his mother Helen Doss; his daughter Stevie McWhorter (Lucas); his stepmother Sara Sims; his siblings, Rhonda Doss, Stephanie Collier (Belve), Greg Sims (Heather), Harry "Bear" Sims (Michelle), Rodney Sims (Connie) and Thomas "Friday" Sims (Kathy); his grandson Graham McWhorter; and his pet Red. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
