He was predeceased by: his wife Christine Burger Warren; and his parents, William Kimbley and Elsie Warren Kimbley. He is survived by: his children, Marvin S. Warren, Jr., Linda Key (James), Brenda Smith (Richard) and Teresa Knight (Jamie Mino); and his grandchildren, Melinda Kay Goodpaster, Walter Samuel Warren, Crystal Ann Deshazer, Wendell Dale Campbell, Jr., Steven Michael Campbell, Melanie Dawn Campbell, Susan Crock and Casey Lynn Smith. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
