He was predeceased by: his wife Pearl Matherly Cocanougher; and his parents, Elmer Cocanougher and Catherine Butler Cocanougher. He is survived by: his stepson Steve Cook (Betsy); his brother Denny Cocanougher (Joann); and his niece Linda Elzy.
