She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles T. Brown and Margaret Cross Brown; her spouse D. C. Lewallen; her son Gary Dale Harstine; and her sister Peggy Barrett.

She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Ellen Kleckner; her grandson Scotty Chambers (Jennifer); her great grandchild Amber Selby (Jason); and her great great grandchildren, Macie and Haley Selby.
