He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Donald and Ruby Rose Pierce Hooks; and his brother Timothy Hooks. He is survived by: his daughter Christy Hooks (Chad Rucker); his stepmother Ann Lankford Hooks; and his siblings, Karen Hooks, Donna Cox (Bob), Danny Hooks (Lisa) and Dewey Hooks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
