He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hardin and Sadie Clarkson Westerfield; and his son Gerald Scott Westerfield. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Cox Westerfield; his children, Gary Westerfield (Lorrie) and Patti Linn (Gary); his grandchildren, Larry Westerfield (Amber) and Charlie Westerfield (Kensie "Martha"); and his great grandchildren, Weston, Callie, Colton and Sadie Michelle Westerfield.
