He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer D. Cocanougher and Catherine Butler Cocanougher; his son Johnny Cocanougher; and his siblings, Jimmie Cocanougher and Georgia Gasser.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Huffman Cocanougher; his sons, Tommy Cocanougher (Barbara) of Claremore and David Cocanougher (Monique) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; his daughter-in-law Sherrie Cocanougher of Punta Gorda, FL; his grandchildren, Hailee Cocanougher, Quinton Cocanougher (Caroline), Caitlin Paynter (Zachary), Robert Cocanougher (Jacqueline), Heather Cocanougher, Paden Cocanougher and Caleb Cocanougher (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Colton Cocanougher and Joseph Muth-Eastham (Evie).
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Heritage Hospice, The Gideons International, or The Kentucky Baptist Children's Home.
