He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Edward Yates and Jackie Schrieber. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ruef Yates of Perry Park, Kentucky.; his children, Jason Yates (Sherri) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Joshua Yates of Augusta, Kentucky, David Dooley (Janet) of West Liberty, Kentucky, Michael Dooley of Perry Park, Kentucky and Jodi Bielinski (August) of Sardis, Tennessee; and his sister Jane Profitt of Erlanger, Kentucky.. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren.
The caring person that Jack was, he chose to donate his body to the study of medical science at the University of Cincinnati Medical School.
