He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Terry and Charlene Terry; his wife Joann Terry; and his siblings, Ellen Hensley, Robin Blair, Lillie Justice, Gary Terry and Dewey Terry.

He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon Terry and Kimberly; his grandchildren, Alexis Shaw, Chase Nichols, Alyssa Nichols, Brennan Nichols, Tyler Klink and Ryan Klink; his great grandchildren, Ashton, Easton S., Easton L., Kylie, Harlan, Braxton, Maleigh, Lane and Ivy; and his sisters, Lisa Hall, Mary Watkins and Linda Milby.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made to Norton Children's Hospital.
