He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Vaughan and Martha Virginia Carter Vaughan. He is survived by: his son Rudy Vaughan (Shelly); his grandchildren, Sabrina and Josiah Vaughan; and his brother Larry Vaughan (Bonnie). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
