He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Crabtree and Carmel Weber Crabtree; his former wife Judy Crabtree; and his sister Sherry Hardin. He is survived by: his wife Linda McDonald Crabtree; his daughter Jennifer Hillebrandt (Anthony); his stepsons, Jonathan Marsh (Gwen) and Nathan Marsh (Jenny); his grandchildren, Anthony Hillebrandt (Allison), Austin Hillebrandt and Alexandria Hillebrandt; his great grandchildren, Joseph Scott Hillebrandt, Parker Anthony Hillebrandt and Owen Elijah Hillebrandt; his brothers, John Crabtree (Mary) and Michael Weber Sr. (Laura); and his brother-in-law David Hardin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and so many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Crusade for Children through the LaGrange Fire and Rescue Department in his memory.
