It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Coreen Lowry Adams of Pendleton, Kentucky, who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband JD Lee; her sons, Steve and Rodney Powell; her parents, James Clinton and Frances Guyton Lowry; and her siblings, Annabell "Dolly" Cobalt (Butch), Hazel May (L. G.) and Brenda Qualls (Bill).
She is survived by: her husband Allen Adams; her son Chris Powell (Jennifer); her granddaughters, Chelsea Powell Buchanan (Heath) and Bonnie Miller Bowling (Ty); her great grandchildren, Sawyer, Ayden, Myles and Pyper; her stepdaughter Tandy Lynn Meyer (Tom); her stepgrandchildren, Ashley, Cameron and Josh; her siblings, Hubert Lowry (Vanetta), Sandy Barrier (Elvin), Dorothy Alexander (Glenford) and Joyce Lurch; and also Teresa Miller Gossom (Kenny). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
