She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Lyons and Elizabeth Lyons (Hicks); her former husbands, John William Thornton Sr. and Wallace "Wally" Richards; her husband Stephen Tubbs; and her daughters, Linda McClellan (Doug), Teresa Pritchard (Ray) and Isabella Rose Tubbs.

Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
