She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Kaitlyn Towles; and her stepdaughter Becky Hensley. She is survived by: her parents, Howard W. King and Jean Tyler (Smith); her husband Randall Hensley; her daughters, Duran Towles of LaGrange and Kimberly Smith of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; her stepchildren, Ashely Baumgarter of Covington, Kentucky, William Baumgarter of Cincinnati and Andrew Hensley of Dayton, Kentucky; and her cousins, Jeff of Bedford, Kentucky., Angie Warren of Bedford, Kentucky. and Shawn Fitzgerald of Bedford, Kentucky.. She is also survived by three grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren.

She was active in the American Cancer Society and enjoyed making crafts, sewing, working on cars, and helping others.
