He is survived by: his wife Sandra Scott Spurlin of Pembroke; his children, Matthew Thomas Spurlin (Rachel) of Hopkinsville and Christy Gee of Herndon; his siblings, Billy Spurlin, Jimmy Spurlin, Linda Sullivan and Brenda Dixon; and his grandchildren, Austin, Emalee, Garrett, Ethan, Paxton, Luke, Lydia and Sophia.
