She is survived by: her parent Gladys Woodall Young; her children, Thomas Edwin Scillian of Herndon and Nancy Carol King of Pembroke; and her brother Courtney Young of Eden, NC. She is also survived by five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
