Delta Shelton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delta Shelton of Pembroke, Kentucky, born in Martin, Tennessee, who passed away on December 11, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, N. Lester Wilson and Azzie Forrester Wilson; her husband James L. Shelton; her son Jim Shelton; and her siblings, Les Wilson, Flossie Thomas and Mildred Tucker.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Shelton (Betsy) of Pembroke, KY, Jeff Shelton (Lois) of Jeffersonville, IN, Delta Ann Shelton (Larry Christy) of Hopkinsville and Carla Chenoweth of Pembroke; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Shelton of Pembroke. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four step-grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
