He was predeceased by: his parents, Lafe Stephens and Jessie B. Stephens; his siblings, Kenneth Stephens (Dude), Ray Stephens (Uldene), Kirtley Stephens (Elizabeth) and Bettie Lyons (Charles); and his brothers-in-law, Archie Emily and Paul Voyles (Betty).
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jane Voyles Stephens; his children, Krisann Davis (Jimmy), Lisha Williamson (Jeff) and Karen Smith (Stacy); his grandchildren, Ethan Karnes, Olivia Davis, Tabitha Lucas (Brandon), PJ Williamson, Betty Jane Mitchell (Matt), Craig Smith and Kristen Ford (Travis); his great-grandkids, Asher, Selma, Nadia Lucas, Carter, Haiden Ford and Milo Mitchell; and his sister-in-law Betty Emily. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
