It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William E. Whalen of Payneville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 18, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Whalen; his children, Susan Whalen, Julia Miller (Paul), Brian Whalen (Dee Dee), Mark Whalen (Barbara), Paul Whalen (Shawn) and Anthony Whalen; and his brother James Whalen (Lou). He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial, for Mr. Whalen's immediate family only due to Covid-19 restrictions, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday from St. John the Apostle Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin Bryan officiating.
