He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Cleveland and Ola Pearl Brown Sedoris; his siblings, Tommie Sedoris, Gordon Sedoris, Inna Mae Sedoris and Pauline Sedoris Hayes; his nieces and nephews, Edward "Buck" Sedoris, Robert "Preacher" Sedoris, Joe Sedoris, Nina Justice (Hayes), Mary Philpott (Hayes) and Joyce Arnold (Hayes); and his siblings, Curtis Hockman, Henry Hockman, Juanita Hockman Meeks and Sylvia Humphrey.
He is survived by: his nephews, Virgil Hayes (Mary) and Bobby Arnold; his cousin Sam Sedoris; his niece Carolyn Sedoris; his siblings, Dennis Hockman (Barbara), Faye Hockman Urbassik (Joe) and Frances Bruner (Bennie); and also, Joyce Barley, Troy Barley (Susan), Chad Barley, Shaun Barley (Mandy), Maddie, Abby and Elena Barley.
