He was predeceased by: his parents, Stevie Patrick and Georgia Mae Horton Hardesty; and his siblings, Eva Mae and Ronnie Hardesty. He is survived by: his children, John Scott Hardesty (Kim) of Brandenburg, KY and Stacy Neitzel (Chris) of Glasgow, KY; his siblings, Tom Hardesty, Clarice Griffith, Judy Fey (Joey), Theresa Matthews and Brenda Hardesty; his grandchildren, Sara Ann Calhoun (Josh) of Elizabethtown, John Kamron Hardesty of Brandenburg, Kari Hardesty of Brandenburg, Christopher Douglas Neitzel (Journey) of Brandenburg, Caleb Neitzel and Colin Neitzel of Glasgow; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Alex, Natalie Ann Calhoun, Mackenzie, Madelynn and Maverick Douglas Neitzel.
