She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Knott and Lillie Knott (Mills); her husband William Nicholas "Nickie" Hardesty; her daughters, Anna Jane Williams and Mary Alene Hardesty; her grandsons, Jonathan and Chuck Williams; and her siblings, Elizabeth, Val Wathen, Amelia Curl, Jim, Bob, Frank and Lamar Knott.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Edward Hardesty (Belinda), William Lee Hardesty (Peggy), Carolyn Marie Flatt (Robert), Joseph Lamar Hardesty (Sue) and Kenneth Aloysius Hardesty; her son-in-law Ronnie Williams; and her sister Margaret Miley. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
