It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl J. Brown (Payneville, Kentucky), who passed away on July 4, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Talbert Brown and Della Mae Barley Brown; his former wife Margaret Wanda Hardesty Brown; his daughter Sandra Kay; his stepson James Richard "Jim" Maysey, Jr.; and his siblings, Mitch, William "Jack" Brown and Mary Evelyn Poole.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lou King Brown; his children, Lois Ann Daugherty (Ralph) and Carl Jeffrey "Pete" Brown (Debbie); his stepson Jeffrey Mark Maysey (Kathy); his siblings, H. C. Brown (Linda) and Betty Jean Gonterman; his son-in-law Robbie Bohannon; and his stepdaughter-in-law Tina Maysey. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
