Betty Gonterman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Gonterman of Payneville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 6, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Della Mae Barley Brown and Talbert Brown; her husband Lawrence E. Gonterman; and her siblings, Mary Evelyn Poole, Mitchel Brown, William "Jack" Brown, J. C. Brown and H. C. Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Rickey Graff of Payneville, Brenda Armes of Vine Grove, Terry R. Gonterman of Payneville and Kenneth E. Gonterman of Payneville; and her grandchildren, Brittany Henderson (Jonathan), Ryan Armes, Joshua Puckett, Alex Gonterman, Tara Gonterman, Tanell Foushee and Tory Brown (Paul). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home (198 Lawrence St, Brandenburg, KY 40108). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY 40160).
