She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Shepherd and Mattie Barnett Shepherd; her husband Winston Gibbs, Jr.; her stepmother Eartha Shepherd; her siblings, Alma Day, Doris Whitaker, Laura Turner, Herbert Joel Shepherd, Brent Shepherd, Timothy Hayes Shepherd and Herbert Harold Shepherd; and her siblings-in-law, Jimmy Gibbs (Mattie) and Maude Gibbs Raleigh (Everett).
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Gibbs (Glenda), Jeffery Gibbs (Sheila), Michael Gibbs (Linda) and Tim Gibbs (Krissy); her grandchildren, Heather Yates (Josh), Candace Gibson (Bobby), Jerry Lee Gibbs, Misty Hall (Jon), Josh Gibbs (Ashley), Christopher Gibbs (Deirdre), Emily Gibbs and Abby Gibbs; her great grandchildren, Riley, Bristol Yates, Donovon Gibson, Aspen Gibbs, Hudson Gibbs, Harper Gibbs, Audrey Gibbs, Boston Gibbs, Grayson Gibbs, Aiden Hall and Kimber Gibbs; her great great grandchild Kairi Williams; her brother Paul Shepherd (Diane); her siblings-in-law, Loretta Shepherd, Phyllis Shepherd, Wanda Shepherd and Charlie Day; and her friend Tanya Lewis.
Due to mandates by the Governor of Kentucky, visitation is limited to 60% of building capacity with face masks and social distancing for all services and at all times.
