He is survived by: his wife Janice Bowman Hooper; his sons, Jamie Lynn Hooper (Laronda) of Stanton, Joshua Lee Bowman (Hope) of Fayetteville and Daniel Lee Hooper of Partridge; his siblings, Paul Hooper (Deborah) of Whitesburg, Ben Hooper of Norton, Virginia, Bessie Burgstorm (John) of Indiana, Carolyn Smith of Indiana, Rena Cliffern (Emory) of Whitesburg and Betty Manis of Wise, Virginia; his grandchildren, Sierra Jane, Salena Lynn, Jamie K, Keenen, Philip, Daphene, Phoeniy and Woea; and his close friend Mattie Watkins.
