She was predeceased by: her parents, William Corbit and Ollie Irene Burnett (Perry); her husband Leslie Young; her son Wendell Young; her brothers, Paul Burnett and Wilburn Burnett; her grandchildren, Jason Perry, Geneva Hamilton, Edward Hamilton, William Hamilton, Sharon Good, David Young and Robin Young; and her great grandchild Raelynn Ann Young.
She is survived by: her son Leslie Young (Kim) of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; her grandson Paul Young of Stearns, Kentucky; her daughters, Dorothy Perry (Ken) of Parkers Lake, Cathy Walker (Henry) of Mt. Sterling, Deborah Meadows (Roscoe) of Whitley City, Myrtie Strunk (Whip) of Parkers Lake, Wahena Young (Wayne) of Parkers Lake, Joyce Young (Chris) of Parkers Lake and Carolyn Coleman of Alpine, Kentucky; her siblings, Ben Burnett of Greeneville and Della Sue Gosnell of Stearns, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Kenneth, Cindy, Henry Joe, Michael, Jessica, Tiffany, Anna, Daniel, Starling, Mark, Jeremy, Stefany, Janet, Velma and Holden; and her close friend Becky Vanover.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the McCreary County Funeral Home (48 State Hwy 700, Whitley City, KY 42653). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
