Maxine Hogan Brooks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Hogan Brooks of Park City, Kentucky, who passed away on July 26, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Maxine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Maxine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles B. Hogan and Janie Frances Hogan. She is survived by: her husband Rondal L. Brooks; her daughter Jane Brooks Skrovan of Park City; and her sister Shelby Jean Esters (Leo) of Cave City. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
