He is survived by: his children, Freddie Cowling, Jr. (Sherry), Christie Martinez (Raudel), Tina Martin (Greg), Treshaun Burris and Jessica LaMastus (James); and his brother Ronald E. Tomes, Sr. (Carolyn). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
