He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edwin Skaggs, Sr. and Delma Turner Skaggs; and his brothers, Louis Clayton and Doug Myers. He is survived by: his children, Samantha Crabtree (James) of Munfordville, Windy Skaggs of Park City, Sunshine Rigsby (Seth) of Munfordville, James E. "Cotton" Skaggs III of Park City, Charles Skaggs of Park City and Tubby Skaggs of Park City; his former wife Sametta Johnson of Park City; his siblings, Donald Ray Myers of Woodlawn, TN and Janice Fay Skaggs of Glasgow; and his nephew Jamie Skaggs of Park City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
