He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Otis" and Mary Christy. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Madison Christy; his children, Lindsay B. Christy of Nashville, TN and Brandon Christy (Myrisa) of Corbin, KY; his grandsons, Asa Fox Christy of Corbin and James River Christy of Corbin; and his siblings, Roger Christy (Diane) of Bardstown, Tony Christy (Christy) of Cave City and Sue Chapman of Hiseville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
