He was predeceased by: his parents, William Northern and Lynn Loraine Jones Northern. He is survived by: his wife Brenda L. Richardson Northern; and his stepchildren, David Allen Kirk, Jr. (Missy) and Stephanie Sims. He is also survived by six step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; two half brothers and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
