He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis McDonald and Sylvia Buttery McDonald; his brother Vader Dee McDonald; and his grandson Silas Xavier McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Harmon of Oregon; his children, Carson McDonald (Melissa), Karla Hiser (Jeremy) and Lee Bird Harris; his sisters, Charolette Rock (Clayton), Nettie Taylor of Barbourville, KY and Brenda Thomas (Dennis); his grandchildren, Samantha, Wyatt McDonald, Ariel, Sylvia and Spencer Hiser; and his close friend Sissy.
