He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Harwell Sr. and Pearlie Mae Dale. He is survived by: his brother Frank Harwell Jr.; his children, Charles Harwell (Sharon), Chanda Harwell, Carl Lee Weaver and Pamela Thames (Fleming); his grandchildren, Diamond Rice, Nyca Scott, Victor Rawls, Victoria Rawls, Tyler Burge and Olivia Burge; and his great grandchildren, Thomas Taylor, Amiyah Taylor, Zuri Scott and Makani Taylor.
