He was predeceased by: his father Johnny Harrison Dees; and his siblings, Alice Jackson and Patrick Dees. He is survived by: his mother Linda Lou Conkright Dees; his children, Stephen Allen Dees, Brandon Jacob Dees and Traci Beth Dees; his grandchildren, Madison Noel Dees, Brailynn Elizabeth Dees and Aurora Roselynn Dees; his siblings, Donna Buckler (Benny) and Johnny Dees; and his nieces and nephews, Mellisa Tolliver (Shane), Tammy Hill (Brian), William Buckler and Brad Buckler (Randee). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
