He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Clinton Amyx and Mary Elizabeth Johnson Amyx; his sisters, Juanita Landers and Barbara Charles; and his stepsister Kay Amyx.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Freeman Amyx; his stepchildren, Aaron Herrington (Kendra) and Jessica Herrington; his grandson Aiden Herrington; his brother Roger Amyx (Wanda); his stepbrother Bill Amyx; his sister Cindy Norka; and his aunt Ruth Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
