She was predeceased by: her sister Rebecca "Becky" Roy; and her nephew John McCarty. She is survived by: her sister Linda McCarty (Wilburn); her stepdaughter Melody Reed; her grandchildren, Tyler Reed, Aeris Tervil, Jacari Banks and Taevon Banks; her brother-in-law Gene Roy; her nieces, Karen Donovan (Dan) and Samantha Brown (Justin); and her roommate Gilda Vice.
