He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Burton Willard and Ara Marie Cooley Willard; and his siblings, Oscar Lee "Buddy" Willard, Hughey Thornton Willard, William Thomas Willard and Martha Lorine Wren.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Peavy Willard; his children, Gail Willard and Jimmy Willard (Tammy Roe); his grandchildren, Ashlee Kelly (Michael), Ryan Willard and Lindsay Willard; and his siblings, Robert Truman Willard (Sylvia) and Ethel Naomi Hourigan "Sissy". He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
