He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stanfield and Cora Stokley Stanfield. He is survived by: his spouse Clemmie M. Johnson Stanfield; his stepchildren, Malika Sanders, Kishma Sanders Smith and Yamish Sanders; his granddaughters, Niambi Berry and Rasheda Berry; and his sisters, Betty Courtney, Helen Webb and Phyllis Webb. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
