He was predeceased by: his parents, Flem Shaffner and Thelma Vance Bussell; his siblings, Avery Bussell, Juanita Buckler, Artie Williams, Cleotis "Okie" Hunt, EmmaLee Watkins, Audrey Perry, Nora Mitchell, Mollie Dailey and Dora Bussell; his uncle Burt; and his aunt Mollie Vance.
He is survived by: his daughter Paula Doyle (Randy); his grandchildren, Kelly Casey Bussell Herrington (Jonathan), Hollie Faith Doyle and Dustin Tyler Doyle (Chelsea); his great grandchildren, Lincoln James Herrington and Silas Michael Herrington; and his siblings, Charles Gilbert Bussell (Brenda) and Bussell Dailey (Donald) of Arizona. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
