He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lafayette Hurst and Ellen "Ella" Sargent Hurst; his former wife Carolyn Henson Hurst; his brothers, Eugene James, Eueil and John Hurst; his children, Kathy Lynn Hurst and Lowell Keith Hurst; and his grandson Daniel Hurst.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hoskins Hurst; his sons, Kenny Hurst (Kim) and Phillip Hurst; and his stepdaughters, Vicki Hutchison, Ann Gilvin (Rodney), Robin Bingham and Jamie Wilson (Doug). He is also survived by great grandchildren, family members and friends.
