He was predeceased by: his parents, Cary Alford and Sarah Griffin Williams; his wife Judith; his sons, Phillip Williams and Stephen Craig Williams; his siblings, Winfred A. "Buddy" Williams, Edward Williams and Mary Ann Kuykendall; his daughter Ellen Williams Kracht; and his grandchildren, Danielle Williams Toadvine (Chase), Nathaniel Williams and Caillie Kracht.
He is survived by: his siblings, Cary Williams (Sue), Wanda Thompson, Linda Sullivan and Brenda Cotter; and his daughter-in-law Amy Roy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial donations to either the First Christian Church, 911 High Street, Paris, Kentucky 40361, or Bluegrass Hospice Care, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, Kentucky 40504.
