She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Banta and Beatrice Wagoner Banta; and her brother Billy Banta. She is survived by: her husband Doug Martin of Paris; her daughter Kendra Scott (Brian); her grandson Bentley Carpenter; and her siblings, Eleanor Dale and Jimmy Banta (Lucy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to Hutchison Methodist Church, 251 Hutchison Road, Paris, Kentucky 40361.
