With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John David Elkins (Paris, Kentucky), who passed away on April 3, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Elkins and Katherine Thompson Elkins; his sisters, Clara Frances Donaldson, Alberta Jones and Mary Lou Canedy; his brothers-in-law, Jim Donaldson, Tom Jones and Jack Canedy; and his nieces and nephews, David Donaldson, Ann Donaldson, Shan Donaldson and Cathy Bea Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Stroker Elkins of Clintonville; his children, Albert and Kathy Jo "KJ"; his mother-in-law Cathy Jo Elkins (Fish); his grandchildren, Brandon Elkins (Amber), Ashlee and Sarah Elkins; his great grandchildren, Hunter Denson, Austin Parrish, Shane Elkins and Cassi Elkins; his nieces and nephews, Jamie Donaldson, Chuck Donaldson, Linda Donaldson, Gail Smith, Loris, Randy Lane and Mary Katherine Stroker; and his siblings-in-law, Bill and Mary Ann Stroker.
