He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Francis and Bette Jean Edgington Perry; and his siblings, John Perry, Vicky Curtis and Marcia Elkin.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kay Sadler Purcell (Chip) and Christina Best (A. J.); and his siblings, Mike Perry and Gail Miller (Phillip). He is also survived by six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
