He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Happy and Clara Nutter Happy; his son Joseph "Joey" Happy; and his siblings, Gary Happy and Helen Happy.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Clay Happy, Jr. and Clara Michelle "Missy" Happy; his grandchildren, Marquita Hampton, Kani McGee (Kevin), Joseph Happy and Elias Webb; his great grandchild Kyleigh Hampton; and his siblings, Charles Happy (Sarah), James Happy, Kenneth Happy (Doris) and Loretta Jackson (Howard). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
