He was predeceased by: his sister Connie Gayle Jones-Boyd; his brother-in-law Donald Jones; and his mother-in-law Thelma Pearl Setters. He is survived by: his wife Martha Prater of Paris; his daughters, Ashley Prewitt Kelly (Ryan) and Kayla Prewitt; his grandchildren, Taylor Puckett, Shila Kelly, River Pearl Kelly and Olivia Jones; and his siblings, Lynn Phillip Prater (Connie), Michael Gene Prater (Ann), Gerald Ray Prater (Daphne), Deborah Jones and Annette Gentry (Jay). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
