She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jim" Mastin; her parents, Lucius G. Moreland and Dorothy Speakes Moreland; her brother Lucius "Buddy" Moreland; and her daughter Mary Ann Mastin.
She is survived by: her children, Mae Jo Mastin (Hamza Malik) and James "D. D." Mastin; her grandchildren, Andrew L. Dawson (Kayla), Lauren E. Dawson, Matthew D. Mastin, Zachary J. Mastin and Grayson T. Mastin; her great grandchildren, Mikey A. Dawson, Addilyn B. Walters and A. Luke Dawson II; her cousins, Nancye Speakes Fightmaster, Patricia Speakes Wilson, Kay Speakes Edwards and Tommy Mitchell; and her family, Tommy Graves, Josie Graves Taylor, Reeca Graves Dawes and Katie Graves White. She is also survived by her many friends, caregivers, and the countless children.
