She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Baker; her parents, John Willie and Carrie Thomas Higgins; her son Garland Wess; her grandson Clifford Wess; and her siblings, Arthur Keller Higgins of Thomas Higgins, C. B, Jason Higgins, Raymond Higgins and Wille Belle Southers.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Venita Garrard (Phillip), Renita Wess and Carrie Jackman; her great grandchildren, Phillip Garrard, Jr. (Rachel), Caren Garrard, Erika Smith, Caleb Wess and Nicole Wess; her granddaughter-in-law Rene Wess; her great great grandchildren, Mikaya Dennis, Layla Dennis, Taeshawn Garrard, Amaya Roberts and Maxwell Garrard; and her daughters, Jane Engert, Carol Fields and Christie Tull. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
